Dreaming Neon Black

This was my very first video I edited. It uses scenes from the Vampire Hunter D movie Bloodlust. It easily dates back from 2003, although I’m not even sure anymore. It was made with a very basic video editor. For a first time edit, it’s pretty good in my opinion.

This was the very first project I did. Solstice Productions didn’t even exist back then. Neither did I have proper programs to make videos with. This video was made with some sort of open source tool. I got some titles in by using virtualdub with a filter for hardsubbing. I remember the program turned the video black and white after every 30 seconds for some strange reason. I managed to fix that somehow (or work around it).

It’s amazing it still turned out the way it stands now. Unlike most video editors I’m still proud of my first video.

They should consider importing some seriously GOOD Anime Games over to the States, not all this Naruto and Bleach crap. I’m not kidding, Japan gets like a new Anime Game everyday, the States only gets 500 Naruto games. PORT BETTER GAMES OVER!!
